Overseeing your organization

A sailing school or charter operator can track several crew spaces from one dashboard — in crewmenu PRO.

Who it's for

Organization oversight is built for sailing schools, clubs and charter operators running several outings at once. It adds a tracking layer on top of crew spaces — without changing anything about the crew's own experience.

This feature is part of crewmenu PRO. Get in touch to enable it for your organization.

The organization dashboard

A manager attached to the organization gets a dashboard that gathers all of the organization's spaces. For each space they see:

  • the group name and its nine-digit join code;
  • the roster — who is enrolled, their role and status;
  • a way to invite a member by email;
  • a switch to lock or unlock registration (organization spaces are invite-only by default).

The manager is never added to the crew: overseeing is not participating.

The access level, chosen by you

For each space, the organization chooses at creation time what the manager may view — and can adjust it later:

  • No access — the manager only sees tracking (roster, codes, statuses), never the content.
  • Partial access — plus the meal grid and the galley.
  • Full read access — the whole space: groceries, boat, allergies, notes, activity log, ship's cash box.
  • Full write access — as above, and the manager can edit the plan (changes are logged under the organization's name).

Crew consent

Privacy stays the rule. When a student joins an organization space, they are told the access level and explicitly accept it. Until they consent, their sensitive data (allergies, notes) stays hidden from the organization — even when the manager has full access. If you raise the access level later, the crew must re-consent before their data reappears.

The provisioning sheet

The provisioning sheet (PDF) of an organization space carries your organization's identity (name and logo), alongside the crewmenu provenance. A manager with full read access can print it; it lists only the allergies of members who have consented.
