Boat and galley equipment

The Boat tab documents what is aboard — oven, fridge, BBQ, water. This information guides meal planning without constraining the crew.

The Boat tab

This tab contains the boat profile: name, type, length, number of berths, and sailing region. This information is shared with the whole crew.

Galley equipment

The galley section lists the equipment available (or not) aboard:

Equipment Description
Stove (🔥) Full burner available
Oven (🍞) Built-in oven — often absent
BBQ (🍖) Cockpit barbecue
Fridge (🧊) Electric refrigerator
Cooler (🧴) Passive cool box
Fresh water (💧) Freshwater tank
Sink (🚰) Onboard sink

For each piece of equipment, the organizer indicates Yes / No / To be decided. A free-text detail field allows adding a note (e.g. "Gas oven, small capacity").

The "no oven" constraint

This is the most common constraint in coastal sailing. If the oven is marked No, crewmenu does not block anything — it is information visible to everyone, not an automatic rule. The crew adapts its recipes accordingly.

Editing the profile

Any crew member can edit the boat profile from the Boat tab (unless the space is archived or the member is an instructor).

Profile privacy

The boat profile never contains the vessel registration, marina berth, access codes, or owner contact details. That data is not part of a crewmenu space.
